Born and raised in Rubavu, Rwanda, Bolingo Paccy grew up surrounded by music. Inspired by his father's musical guidance and his experiences in the church, Paccy developed a deep passion for music from an early age. Throughout his formative years, he honed his skills on various instruments, including the guitar, harmonica, vocals, drums, piano, and percussion. Paccy's musical journey continued into high school, where he studied Electronic Services before pursuing further education at Nyundo Music School. As a student at Nyundo, Paccy emerged as a bandleader, showcasing his talents as a guitarist, composer, singer, and arranger. Influenced by both personal experiences and traditional Rwandan culture, Paccy's compositions reflected a unique blend of authenticity and innovation. In 2021, Paccy released his debut album, "Umucancuro," featuring ten tracks that resonate with listeners on a profound level. From the soulful melodies of "Inyenyeri" to the uplifting rhythms of "Sakabaka," Paccy's music transcends boundaries, inviting audiences into a world of storytelling and emotion.
